What is LPG

LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is a hydrocarbon gas that exists in a liquefied form. LPG is a colourless, low carbon and highly efficient fuel. Supplied in two main forms, propane (C3H8) and butane (C₄H₁₀), LPG has a range of uses – from providing fuel for cooking gas in home or hotel or restaurants or catering, powering fuel for industries and much more.
LPG naturally exists in vapor form and can be easily Liquefied by moderate pressures. This makes it very Convenient to store, transport and handle giving the User hassle- free operations. LP gas are actually quite safe in comparison with Other fuels. LPG has a high ignition temperature, About 450-510 C compared to about 177- 329 C for Gasoline’s. This makes it less likely to ignite Spontaneously

Conventional VOT Installations
The VOT (Vapour Off-Take) is the conventional cylinder installation for industries with minimal fuel requirements. It is the most common type of installation used mostly in single LPG cylinders with a maximum LPG off-take of less than 60Kg per hour. Because of its design and working principle, this type of installation is advised only to consumers with comparatively low LPG usage.

LOT Installations

Liquid Off-Take LPG installations is an effective and safer option over the conventional Vapor Off Take (VOT) cylinders when flow rates are high. It employs a vaporizer and are currently being used in various commercial and industrial applications for customers requiring high flow rate of LPG for their processes. The LOT (Liquid Off-Take) installation is for industrial users with higher fuel requirements. In this type of installation, liquid LPG is withdrawn from the cylinders and fed into the vapouriser, thus maintaining the temperature of the LPG cylinder.
